Jackamans Solicitors supports Felixstowe & Walton United Football Club

Jackamans Solicitors recently joined The Seasiders’ family of sponsors. Recognising the Club’s unique value to the community, the long-established law firm is sponsoring the Under 18 side and the company’s branding will feature on the team’s training tops.

Last year, the club appointed Dan Barrack as the new U18 manager, along with his assistant Darren Oxbrow. Dan has been involved in youth football for several years, most recently at AFC Kesgrave having started at St Johns and then Ransomes.  Darren is a former professional footballer with Ipswich Town, Maidstone, Barnet and Colchester United and coached at Ipswich Town Academy from 2011-2018 where he worked with John Coupe, the club’s Director of Football Development.

Working with John Coupe and all at Felixstowe and Walton United FC, the Under 18 side’s objective is to provide a pathway from youth into adult football via the Under 23 side and on into the first team.

A football academy was launched in September 2020 and the new pitch-side clubhouse complex is a thriving social club and community hub offering, in addition to football, a wide variety of events throughout the calendar year including the annual Firework Spectacular, drawing crowds of over 4,000.

The club has a long-standing commitment to youth football and the management team’s aim is to ensure that the ethos of player recruitment and development remains at the heart of everything it does. With these foundations being laid, it stands the club in great shape to give young players the very best opportunity to make progress into the first team squad.

A full colour digital match day programme is produced for supporters and visiting fans, keeping everybody in touch with all the latest news, reports, and action. In addition to this, a dedicated channel “Seasiders TV” gives a unique insight into on and off field activities at the football club.
